The following message will be required by law to be labeled with sugary drink ads:

WARNING: Drinking beverages with added sugar(s) contributes to obesity, diabetes, and tooth decay. This is a message from the City and County of San Francisco.

San Fransisco is hoping to send a message of well-being to their community. Every sugary drink advertisement on billboards or even taxi cabs will have to have a warning label.

As long as the mayor does not veto the law, it will go in effect in 10 days. This will make it the first law in the nation to put a warning label on the advertisments for sugary drinks.
