Monkey Fruits

(Serves 4)

Ingredients

  • 4 each Bananas, peeled and sliced into 2-inch rounds
  • ½ cup Fat-free vanilla yogurt
  • 3 Tbsp. Shredded coconut, or crushed cereal (granola, grape nuts, whole grain puffs etc.)

*You can use banana, pineapple, mango, honey dew melon, or cantaloupe chunks, or strawberries(halved). Monkeys love them too!


Instructions

  1. Wash the fruits before you use them
  2. Peel and slice banana into 5 pieces and/or remove tops from strawberries
  3. Roll banana slices or berries into yogurt with a tooth pick or spoon to coat
  4. Drop yogurt covered fruit into crushed cereal or coconut in small bowls or cups
  5. Pierce completed monkey fruits with toothpicks and remove to platter
