Improvements for Healthier School Lunches
In a recent Research Brief from Bridging the Gap, reseachers conclude children's school lunches has changed "considerably over time."
Since the implementation of the new school lunch standards, students are eating more fruits and vegetables.
The research surveys years prior to the inaction of the Hunger-Free Kids Act, and two years following the implementation of the act. Researchers also note an overall improvement into the second year of the Act.
