Bike to the Train

Bike with us on the Leeward Bikeway from Neal S. Blaisdell Park (8 mile Leeward Bikeway exploratory ride) or West Loch Shoreline Park (3 mile family friendly route).  Chow down on pizza  and salad and hydrate with water and gatorade at the Hawaiian Railway Society Train Station while talking story and learning about the Leeward Bikeway! Hop on the on the train and relax all the way to Electric Beach and back. But wait, there’s more! We’ll be stopping at Two Scoops for ice cream on the way back!

Tickets include lunch and train ride!
HBL Member:
$12/adult, $8/child

Non-Member:
$14/adult, $10/child

Schedule

8:30 a.m. – Depart: Neal S. Blaisdell Park (8 mile Leeward Bikeway Exploratory Route off-road)

*Route Note: Please see the map below. This route has two off road sections as we will follow the not-yet-paved Leeward Bikeway path*

9:30 a.m. – Depart: West Loch Shoreline Park (3 mile Family Friendly Route)

10:30 a.m. – Chow down & Rehydrate: pizza, salad, gatorade and water

11:00 p.m. – Talk Story: Leeward Bikeway

12:00 p.m. – Train Rolls Out: Kahe Point (Electric Beach)

1:00 p.m. – Ice Cream Break: Two Scoops Ko’Olina

2:00 p.m. – Train Rolls In: Hawaiian Railway Society

2:15 p.m. – Bike back to our respective starting points and pau!
